... noisy. The Christians are very pious, reverent and all knowing. The Jewish population is intense, fervent, and religiously follow their very old traditions. The sounds of church bells, the call to prayer, chanting, praying, the blowing of the shofer, singing and the reading of the Torah make up this vibrant, tense and holy city.
