Today we visited the John Deere seeder plant. We took a tour of the factory, where they make, assemble, and repair seeders. They make many types and sizes of seeders there, from small 4-ro seeders to 24-row ones. All their seeders are custom made, when a farmer orders them. ... the park, go to their beautiful, huge swimming pool, or play mini golf. Nice, level concrete pull-thru site facing the lake, but we couldn't have a full hookup or 50 amp service in a pull-thru site that was long enough for us. Good 30 amp service though!

Met Ed and Kitty for dinner, along with Ed's niece and nephews and had a wonderful visit. Later we went to a beautiful home in downtown Davenport and a beautiful view of the River.
Okay, good times, good family and not enough time to really explore Davenport as it should have been. But, we have an appointment with GNR with a stop over in Kellogg, Iowa. So, stay tuned!
