... 1 shop and could never understand how to make a bracelet, so Paul was sitting at the table with the kids and having a lovely time!!! Lisa thought it was the best thing she had ever seen!!!

We had a late lunch, did a bit more shopping, then waited for the bus around 4.15 to take us back home. I had the smarts this time, and got Paul to go on first and flash his pension card - and you wouldn't believe it, we all got on for free! That's right - even Lisa didn't have to ...

... Turkey. After four or so days in Istanbul we pick up a car with the plan of travelling throughout Turkey for four or so weeks. Neville keeps reminding Barry........ I'm in charge of the boat, you're in charge of the car .... we'll see. Bo Bo and myself have decided we will stay in the back seat and lay low! We chatted to couple of Ozzie couples on ...

After a long flight with lots of screaming and yelling children, who Djuna loves to copy, we arrived at the Gold Coast. It took us hours standing in lines before we got out of the airport and instead of 20.00 o'clock it was already 23.00 o'clock. Luckily we got picked up by the owner of the motel and had the most beautiful studio ever and a real soft bed. So I fell a sleep straight away while Niels walked for hours on the beach to get Djuna to fall a sleep.

... really stand out. From 20 miles down the coast they could be spotted from the bus. My first impressions as I made my way to the hostel was that it was an ugly place. Full of concrete, high-rise towers and fast-food chains, granted I hadn't seen the beach yet but to me it didn't look much different to Coventry, with palm trees.

The hostel itself had a great layout, a nice pool, hammocks everywhere and ...
