We then explore the formations within the cave while working our way to the entrance. The diffused light is ethereal and magical. I wish my photos could give the aura justice. We took the must have photos and spent the night camping in our van under the stars. From here we motored through the Catlins National Park which is just acres and acres of rolling hills and fields of all shades of green and more sheep than I ever expected.
