... the bus didn't park next to the boat. There is plenty of room to park. I now wonder about the general intelligence of our bus driver.

We get on the boat and look for somewhere to sit down. Most of the boat is open deck. All of this is occupied by people sitting on blue mats. We look for some spare blue mats, but they are all gone. Even if we find one, there would be no room to put it down. We find a small area where we can stand up.

... like to book holidays that are all inclusive meaning that you get breakfast and dinner buffets at the hotel. That basically means that you end up eating pretty much the same thing day after day, so it was nice to get a change. I ordered a whole broiled bream with chips and salad for only 10 Euros. These waiters are setting such a high standard of service without putting up with peoples ****; it’s a surprise they maintain such a level of professionalism in the face of austerity, I don’t even know how some of them don’t just explode and tell those petty passengers on board to swap their lives for the day; go work 12 hour shifts 7 days a week for 250 and keep smiling. Seriously some people on board truly need ...

We were cultured-out by this time so we decided to head back to the hotel via a pastry stall near the bus station, where we bought huge sweet cheese rolls for €1 each and a drink to revive us. Getting back, however, was easier said than done as it was really busy so we had to stand on the bus, plus our lady bus driver thought she was taking part in the Grand Prix, squeezing through tiny gaps and hurtling down narrow ...
