In the morning we arose early to try and get money but no-one could speak any english, nightmare! In the end there was one man from the bank who came and showed us where there was a 3rd atm, that we were unaware of, and sure enough it ejected those lovely yen notes for us :). We were very relieved, and went back to get our bags then left!

Alright, so I ended up getting roughly an hour of sleep, but I think it was less since I kept waking up. I let one of the Japanese kids sleep in my room since he was locked out and ended up on the couch and then trying to sleep in one of the classrooms. I decided that working a day a fortnight wasn't worth the agro, so I had to make the trip to the prefecture capital, Nagano (where they had the winter Olympics last decade) to get an extention to my tourist visa. Thanks to Queen Lizzy and my birthright as one of god's own, I am allowed to stay for a total of 6 months instead of the usual 3 months that the rest of the Aussie rabble have to content themselves with.
