    ... Just up a ladder was a loft with room for two single beds with lots of extra room for our stuff. We were steps away from the beach in station 2. The main beach is divided into 3 stations; station 2 being right smack in the middle of all the action. Our fist day here was the last day of the Easter holiday.     ... was a bit ridiculous that we had to direct him considering we didn't know our way around the city at all. We checked in and got a free upgrade. Hurray!     ... hour we leave to join Ant. We all agree that an early night is what is needed and after a couple of beers in Harry's (Ants fav) we head home.     ... to get some more authentic food and ended up at this wicked little joint called Erra's Place. We ate lichon for the first time (deep fried pork) as well as chop suey and a beef dish. Food was good and Alex had his first San Miguel of the trip for 33 pesos! That's 75 cents for a beer!     ... too long. I am pretty sure, that if someone can give more time, this place might surprised him/her with its little treasures. We didn't. We walked around and went to the old Spanish Manila walled town, Intramuros. Wide streets, few plazas, some nice colonial houses and few splendid churches – that’s one part of the walled city. The other is poverty with its ugliness and sadness; crying children and hopeless adults.
