Swimming with the whale sharks in Oslob, wow they are massive and what a cool opportunity! Since the announcement of the 4 students going to Holland on August 2012, Karena started ...

We had woken up at 3am today for our flight. We arrived in Manila exhausted, crashing for a power nap at our AirBnB pick: a historical Filipino home in the relatively quiet Paco area of metro Manila.

The rest of the day was uneventful, as our supposed trip to Makati - the shiny, modern part of Manila - for the Ayala Museum, turned into finding Starbucks and then chatting literally for hours.

This is my second visit to Manila, and today I was really struck ...
