... to the beach. We lasted about 15mins on a sunbed with a beach umbrella before a guy came over asking us to either pay or move. We moved. We then headed up to the 2nd and more quiet pool bar, also owned by Farout, where we lazed around with Mitch, James and some other people that they'd made friends with prior to our arrival, enjoying the afternoon. We got dressed and ate breakfast with ...

It was an early morning as the majority of the tour group were heading down to the port in Athens to catch a ferry to the Greek Islands. Our first stop and our home for the next few nights is the party island of Ios. It was a 4 hour ferry ride to Ios and thankfully the weather was perfect. We arrived in the port of Ios and walked just up the hill to our hotel. There weren't many plans made for the next few days as everyone just wanted to relax.

We settled into our rooms (I ...

We spent about 2 hours in Oia looking around, then bus back to FIra, a late morning tea of an icecream (it was getting quite hot – one of the few times I have been so grateful of a strong breeze). By this time the crowds were certainly out. There was ours and another large cruise ship in the harbour and another one due soon. At about 1pm we decided to head back to the ship and headed off to the cable car. This time the queue ...
