    ... mountains to the west which just look cold in today's light. The little birds sing, the whoot whoots, whoot whoot, the cuckoo tells us he's there, we cross what looks like an old deserted airstrip but discover it's still used by gliders. Not far from there are signs that say it's an Roman archeological dig site but looks like a massive water puddle to us.     ... to be freed and quickly started burrowing as soon as he was freed and the humans had stopped gawking and being amazed at seeing him. One of those oh wow moments in life.

    Arrived in the village and found the Albergue straight away. Got motioned that we had to go to cafe to sign in. No hospitalario here.     ... glue in places but farking heaps better than bitumen! And my buddy has declared all the brown slugs as mobile poos!

    For a national park things are so different to what we are used to. They have cattle grazing to keep the grass down and we even know where they are in the dark because they wear bells and in places they are planting some sort of trees. Couldn't see what because they'd fenced us out :( But whatever, while it's now state property, ...

    ... finger rather painfully came into contact with an extremely sharp sabatier knife. Aghhh!!! "Who put that bloody knife in there"? When any such unfortunate domestic event happens to him, Monsieur tends to blame Madame. That is not always the case, for at the same campsite, after running repairs were made by Madame to the bloody finger there was another "Monsieur self inflicted incident" as I now call them.

    Next day in Salamanca we stayed in the camp, wrote, did washing and cut my fringe a bit too short then the day after went back into Salamanca and to see the convent of San Estaban. Spent two hours just looking, looking. Jens, could you design us a miniture version for a house please!
