Day 2 and we do a guided walk in Maria Luisa park this morning. There are lots of monuments and fountains and the amazing Plaza de Espana. What a magnificent building and all those ceramics. The park is huge and has so many features like the loggias providing lovely shaded areas with vines growing over,could do one in our back yard.

Rick, Rosie and I left the apartment apartment soon after 7 for Gare Lazare to catch a train to Giverny, Monet's house and garden. It was really quite cool and we were feeling inadequately dressed.
