      Today was to be the longest of them all, with 115kms covered, to reach Warka. The ride was started early, at 8:30am, and the breakfast was had on the parking of a gas station, while the iPhone was charging on a wall plug. Not very sexy, but couldn't waste much time. For lunch, I tried finding a restaurant, but there was none in a 50km radius ...

      ... it was sunken and enclosed with a single chain fence and three large dogs lay under some trees in the middle. Off with the tyre again using the rear spindle as a tyre lever, found a small sliver of glass or stone still in the tyre which had obviously created a hole in the new tube. Glued a patch over the hole inside the tyre and put a new tube in, just couldn't find the hole in the old tube to mend and the dogs looked more and more menacing! Cycled out of Wysmierzyce ...

      45 kms AM - This is your breakfast (no choice), so if it's a cooked one and you've had gastro probably not your first choice but I found it delicious! I think the cereal & muesli & yoghurt may have disappeared now unfortunately. Then it was off to the woods to see a WW2 German bunker deep in the forest, a place the Polish call "Bunkier w Konewce". This huge ferro-concrete bunker is 380 metres long and was built to house a whole set ...

      ... przez Caritas, w postaci naszych rodzin, czekających z górą jedzenia. Nasz kolejny celem była Mała wieś i "iście szlachecka" zabawa w pałacu, do której średnio pasowaliśmy, nie tyle z racji posiadania 16 słoików z ogórkami na pace busa, co z racji wieku. (Aha...dowiedzieliśmy się jeszcze, że nasz canon, (i tu cytuję) to "jakaś beka". Whateva! Kolejny dzień to prawdziwe spa. Pierogi ...
