Today begin with leaving the house at 5:00am. Needed to be at LAX by 7:00 to catch my 9:00 flight to Honolulu. Hilary dropped me off early so she could make it back to work on time. The flight to Hawaii was 5 hours 45 minutes....which seemed like forever since there were many babies onboard that continued screaming and crying the whole flight.....while their parents seemed ...

... My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline

and do not resent his rebuke,

because the LORD disciplines those he loves,

as a father the son he delights in. (NIV)

Hebrews 12:11

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful.
Later on,
however, it produces a harvest of righteousness
and peace for those who
have been trained by it.
