Sat next to a guy on the ltd express to Nagoya and he noticed how wet I was and asked "Suzuka"? We laughed a little and tried to have a conversation. Perfect spot to watch the race, well, apart from the RSJ blocking the video screen but the best part about the rain was that there were plenty of empty seats so I moved a little closer after the first lap. Made it to the track and wandered about looking at the souvenir stands, same old stuff as you get at Melbourne. Redbull stand 4 deep in a queue, catherham: empty. ... soup with one of the teachers from Caitlin's school at a little hut tucked away in the middle of nowhere. An older gentleman brought our food into the one room hut and cooked live fish in front of us. An experience to say the least, but all so delicious and fresh. Plus plenty of warm sake to help it all go down :)
