... cia i otrzymaniem autografu.
Suzuka, Mie, Japan ania-maciekWe did the usual disembarkation and re-boarding to go through security in Nagoya. I threw the Japanese quarantine inspectors into a tizzy. I saw there was no line for the security checkpoint and didn't see them at the far end of where the line normally is, so I jumped the barrier and almost violated their quarantine. The decided I didn't have swine flu and let me through. I had only a few minutes between when I got to the gate and we started to board.
... nice austere architecture and clean unstained woodwork.
I'm still somewhat conflicted abouthtre exclusivity factor of Ise Jingu--at both shrines, the central complex is off limited to the public; in fact there are four or five layers of fences to keep prying eyes away. This complex contains the main halls for religious rites, the Imperial family prayer facilities and the treasure houses. For a publically ...
... it) to get up at five in the morning to see sunrise above meoto-iwa. We were not the only ones. Many others had woken up at the crack of dawn to place their tripods and the brave the cold. After sunrise we quickly hurried back to bed to catch a few more hours of sleep before heading off to Toba. In my earlier entries I described Toba as grey, rainy sort of place however this time around there was only sunshine and we gladly ...
Ise, Kinki, Japan jossie... We went to the Geku shrine at around 12ish I think? It was cool, took lots of pictures, then we went to the main shrine, which was AMAZING! The bridges were awesome! And the koi were HUGE! Although it was a bit freaky how parts of this shrine looked exactly like Geku. I think I'm all shrined out for now, I have now seen three ...
Suzuka, Kinki, Japan shantiman... overdubs and vocals, but it was already sounding pretty good by the time I finished. The other three stayed behind an additional hour or two to finish what they could, and I guess the rest of the mixing will take place in two weeks. Seven completed songs in one day? Not too shabby! I hustled on down to Tsurumai after recording yesterday evening then to celebrate under the newly-blossomed sakura with friends. Since Mayu and I are flying out in less than ...
Kariya, Japan xerius... belief in. That is merchandise. They had an infinite array of goods all sporting the small group of dodgy and hardly Spanish characters. They even had baby versions of these characters, and old fashioned black and white versions. I smell a Disney copyright lawsuit in the air. But my little fishing village was lovely, and being next to the ocean again was fantastic. I didnt realise how much I missed it.
Ise, Japan woundedsoldier... you're done!!! There was no little door you put it in inside the bathroom - GROSS! Lily and I were laughing this entire time, we kept telling Shima we weren't laughing to make fun of the situation, just more of a 'I can't believe this is happening right now' kind of laugh. Next we were rushed into another room for the EKG and then the Chest X-RAY, all very efficientally, the whole process took less than 15 minutes. I couldnt imagine having all of those things done in ...
Osaka, Nagoya, Japan kateinjapanWe wanted to go to an restaurant with "all you can eat" in Nagoya which Kai knows well from his last stay in Japan. However the weather was once again against us and additionally we took a snail-train instead of the rapid express to Nagoya so instead of 2+ hours it took us 4+ hours to get there. Then there was not enough time left for it because after 11+ PM there are ...
