Sat next to a guy on the ltd express to Nagoya and he noticed how wet I was and asked "Suzuka"? We laughed a little and tried to have a conversation. Without more than a couple of words between us I managed to work out he raced motorcycles at Suzuka, until injuries to his knee and shoulder became too much. ... soup with one of the teachers from Caitlin's school at a little hut tucked away in the middle of nowhere. An older gentleman brought our food into the one room hut and cooked live fish in front of us. An experience to say the least, but all so delicious and fresh. Plus plenty of warm sake to help it all go down :)
