A note in retrospect: since this is a pilgrimage trail, the road lies between two shrines, one at Owase and one at Aiga, so that would have been useful to know. a day trip to Toba, home to the aquarium and Mikimoto pearls. The mayor of Toba met us at the train station, Kenda-San. We went to the pearl shop and made our selections. So much to choose from.
