Plane delayed until 13.30 so our plans for walking to Navarette were in jeopardy early on. Arrived in Santander 4pm Drama collecting car over credit cards and drivers licences but sorted in the end. Eugene drove. Very fraught for the first hour or so but eventually all calmed down! Arrived Logrono 7.30 eventually found where to leave car (after a few U turns and some shouting). Headed off on ...

Big big brekky - best smorgasbord I've seen in years a real banquet so ate up ...

2nd day for us in this little harbour waiting for the strong westerly to blown off before heading further west, life has been pretty good! The local veg market up in the old town was really cool, reminds me of the 农贸市场 uphill of our flat in Dalian. Old ladies kept telling me the produces are grown from the basque land, perhaps they do not see many Chinese customer drop ...

... that was celebrating cultures from all around the world. At the Australian one they were serving fosters beer and apparently kangaroo burgers....interesting. The following day we continued our journey back to France and stopped in Bilbao for the day. We bike rode around town, checked out the famous Guggenheim museum and enjoyed a few drinks in the old town which resembled the streets or San ...
