      Today we are heading to Santander for the ferry to Plymouth. Having looked into the pros and cons of our usual Roscoff to Plymouth route this came out on top. It saved almost 500 miles of driving, and the associated tolls,and at least two overnight stops.       Very clean fast Metro into Bilbao. Lovely quiet city, very few cars, mostly trams and buses. Lots of shops, old town with cathedral. The Museo Guggenheim is an amazing construction, inspiring.
