A travel blog entry by cjasko on Jun 09, 2015

Got to a downtown port location, thus able to WALK THRU OLD TOWN from 9 to 12:30.

In the Town Center is a huge cathedral, occupying two blocks, at least 15 stories high, filled with filigree and buttressed walls. It was built over 25 years beginning about 1350. For 99cents we could fill a container with salad, egg, tuna , radish and loads of other ingredients. Great value and delicious. Had a shower after dinner and sat in the little cabin until bedtime--8.30 ! Only 30k to Koblenz , so we are making good progress towards the Main ...

... We then went over to the university as it was our lucky day, because Ben and Jerry's was giving out free ice cream!!! Surprisingly it was a HUGE serving of ice cream we got!! It was sooo amazing, and even better because it was free! Then it was time to head back to the apartment because at this point we were dripping in sweat and extremely exhausted from our day! We relaxed for awhile and then went out to dinner with kaja and her sister! ...
