Perfect location for riding the smokies. Quaint little town. We stayed at the Spring Creek Taven, rooms very large and over look the creek

The County Health Department is very good for foreign travel information. The nurse gave us good information about mosquito repellants, what do take for intestinal problems and reminders about eating safely and staying healthy. Plus they give you an immunization record for travel.

Now that we know what size backpack we will have -- 46 liters whatever that means, I have to fill it. Need light weight, easy care clothes -- wrinkle free. The Smokie Mountains were nothing short of amazing. I couldn't have asked for better weather. After me and Stealth (Will) took a zero day at Fontana Dam we hit our stride. My knees are finally started feeling better so we were able to pick up our mileage and usually hiked between 15-20 miles a day. I can say with certainty that I gave ...

6 photos I met with the owner last night, and will be doing gear testing for the Trek Pouch. We installed the Trek Pouch on both my poles this morning (about a 2 minute process!), I am looking forward to having these on my journey. Such a simple, yet useful idea! A big thanks to the other companies I am talking with currently - I am looking forward to working out the small details, so we can test out, and spread the word about these ...
