    We enjoyed some lovely local wine and seafood before we returned to our hotel by taxi. Now everyone else is swimming or napping while I write this blog.

    Tonight we dine with our group at 8 pm and tomorrow we will return via ferry to Turkey to continue our adventures. I promise to write more in the next few days.

    In the meantime, here are a few photos. I hope you enjoy them.

    I took the bus back to Rhodes town today where I was to then find my way to my couch surfing hosts Larissa and Victors house in ialisos the coach however had a small issue with the doors where I was sitting. It seemed that there was an air lock or bubble and as we sped down the dual carriageway they kept opening and closing on their own. In the end after about 5 miles the driver pulled over reset them and off we went again. ...

    ... It really is a must see. Check out the pictures and video for more on this. There are plenty of tourist market stalls around but pleasingly no hard sell and a polite no is enough. Smoking I think has not been banned here and I really noticed it but not enough to spoil my wandering. I took a tour train for just 6 euro again around the old town and there really are some wonderful parks and statues and such.
