... let off locals who lived off the beaten track. Hot and tired, we have to walk another 15 mins from the bus station back to the hotel. So it took 4 hours for us to get to and from the beach. All this when there was a beach just across the road from the hotel....not convinced that Lindos Beach was so amazing that it was worth all that effort! But I can now say I have been there, swum in the water, seen the medieval castle, looked at the other side of Rhodes.

We began the morning with a huge swim and some jumping from the pontoon! ...

Tom was even feeling hungover, so the tour was a bit quiet but in ...

... I saw more "old rocks" than I ever thought possible! I made a great friend in Deb - she introduced me to Paul in 2000 - and I have many fond memories of our time together. We rode donkeys together, we struggled with some of the students' behaviour together, and we sat on a staircase overlooking a square in th Old Town of Rhodes together.

So, imagine my delight today, ...

    Rhodes, Greece

Today our shipped docked in the port of Rhodes. The was a very interesting medieval town. The ship was docked just outside the tall wall to the medical town. We started by driving to the archeological site of Kamiros. It was a beautiful drive along the west cost of Rhodes. They have beautiful blue water along the coast the starts as a lite turquoise blue and goes into a deep blue. Once we got to the ancient site we were guided ...
