    ... that I will not be renewing this year. Whilst our running costs have gone up – food, power and taxes –we no longer have much in the way of major works to complete, so the pressure is off.     Whilst friends enjoy the first day opening of some resorts in the Alps and Americans struggle to get out of their homes, I am walking each day in shirt-sleeves and temperatures of 21 degrees.
