Once we'd reach Bucharest we grabbed ourselves a quick McDonald's breakfast and boarded our last train to Brasov. From the train window we watched the sun rose over the mountains. ... however proved extremely difficult as we faced a head wind that not only restricted our speed but was exhausting in the heat, combining this with the gradual climb resulted in all three of us suffering greatly. ... a long long way to go! Nevertheless it was an acceptable site, once we found a spot that was reasonably level - not an easy task. It had the facilities we needed (although the showers had no doors and a communal changing area) and was in a very pretty woodland situation. Most important it was handy for exploring the region.
