Dracula's Coming Out - Bran Castle

... of winters in this place.

Joe, Charlotte and we went for dinner to a Chinese restaurant near our hotel, and the food all that great. We had to pack up tonight, our third night at the Aro Palace. We don't need to leave until 10:30am tomorrow, which feels SO late compared to all our early mornings. It will be a simple day tomorrow - just getting back to Bucharest to prepare for our long trip back to the United States.

... much attention as it deserved, however, as by the time we arrived, they were locking up the museum and I was utterly exhausted from my day. We had again traveled almost 400 kilometers, I had climbed 1480 stairs, had toured a fortress and a military encampment.

We headed to Brasov. Along the way, in the woods I noticed some statues. They were so very out of place that it was startling. For a stretch of several kilometers, statues of all sorts of figures were placed ...
