... last shift with the beautiful babies and then we'll be packing to leave on Saturday. Every minute has been an experience and we've got such amazing memories to treasure. Can't believe we've been here for 3 weeks- it's absolutely flown by!!!! We feel so safe and comfortable in Brasov and feel like we've grown up here haha! Sinaia is a charming little city in the Prahova Valley in the Bucegi Mountains. Peles Castle, a summer residence of King Carol I. The castle is breath taking. Then on to Transylvanian town of Brasov which dates to the 13 th century. Then on to Bran Castle- Dracula's Castle! Was scolded today for being rude. ...

... over to the bus station where we caught a bus to Bran. Once we arrived in Bran, we were right by one of the most famous castles in Transylvania. The Bran Castle never actually had the historical Dracula live there, but the castle from Bram Stoker's Dracula novel is based on this castle since that castle is obviously fictional. It was pretty cool to see a castle ...

... gorgeous mountain setting. The interior doesn’t disappoint either. The king wanted the castle to be as modern as possible: it was the first castle in Europe to have central heating, and it has on each floor a kind of sucking outlet that the staff would hook up tubes to… for vacuuming!! (Don't get me wrong, I am *not* a domestic goddess, far from it in fact... but I find this very, very cool. Don’t know why…)

... we took off first to see Harman, one of the old Saxon fortified churches from the 13th century, set in a nice little town where 107 German residents (to be exact) still attend services. We were the only ones here and Georgiana had the caretaker let us in to take in the serenity.
