... in weird places to view, they were not picture worthy, and that was it. This church more or less looked just like the outside of the church. Just one big gray slab of rock. Even the altar was not very ornate by European Church Standards. All in all, if I ever go to Brasov again I would skip this church and save my 8 lie, for the shear fact that there was really nothing much to see. ...

Sinaia is a charming little city in the Prahova Valley in the Bucegi Mountains. Peles Castle, a summer residence of King Carol I. The castle is breath taking. Then on to Transylvanian town of Brasov which dates to the 13 th century. Then on to Bran Castle- Dracula's Castle! Was scolded today for being rude. ...

... gorgeous mountain setting. The interior doesn’t disappoint either. The king wanted the castle to be as modern as possible: it was the first castle in Europe to have central heating, and it has on each floor a kind of sucking outlet that the staff would hook up tubes to… for vacuuming!! (Don't get me wrong, I am *not* a domestic goddess, far from it in fact... but I find this very, very cool. Don’t know why…)

... When it gets closer to 3:45am, I get up for good and put on my glasses; instant dizziness again. I finally realize that I'm dizzy because I'm missing a lens in my glasses! I scramble around and find the busted lens. I wrap it in my small pack towel to protect it and get off the train.

I don't have an eyeglass repair kit, but I'm able to fix my glasses using my fingernail as a screwdriver. Once I put the lens back in, they're good ...
