Day Cruise: Poros
... sun deck, then arrived to the island of Poros. Poros has a very nice port with lots of picturesque homes, but it was kinda hard to explore the island due to the time constrain. We had 45 minutes on this island and then it was time to go! Had enough time to take some pictures and get a flavor of the town. ... We go ashore and everything is extremely quiet. We have decided we will get the ferry across to Lixouri which is only a twenty minute ferry ride. The ferry doesn't come for about half an hour and we have a bit of a wander. We stop in one of the shops on the water front and get talking to the owner and she's a pommie who came here twenty five years ago on a gap year and ended up marrying a Greek guy and stayed. She's very friendly and fills the waiting gap for us. ...

... We grabbed at table and sat for a bit doing some cryptic crosswords and I had a beer. ( 500ml)

We grabbed a couple of loungers and an umbrella later and had a couple more beers. Reading , crosswords and a few dips in the pool. ..... i'm exhausted ! lol
1600 we head back to the boat and find Terry sound asleep on deck with a book besie him called "Time manegement for Dummies" lol. He reminds me of D.G.

Windy day
... and Peter won again. Peter and Terry indulged in a bottle or 2 of wine and reminisced about the past.
I went to my cabin shut the hatches to reduce the whistling wind and did some reading. Put my ipod on and went to sleep .
P.S. The wind is gusting at 30 kts.
My foot is starting to swell as it did on my last trip and i'm not sure if it's the same foot.
Hoping it stays the way it is till i get home.
