    ... a quaint little historical town and we had envisaged a tiny place surrounded by rolling green hills.

    ... is done, and yup, it was cold. After the tour we went to dinner at the brewery restaurant. I had beef filet roasted in Pilsner and sausage. We sat with two gentlemen from Romania - that was very interesting! I slept the whole way back and it was very late when we returned- which is why this post is so late!

    Today we are waiting for a bus to take us to Karlovy Vary which is a spa town and the location of the Moser Glass ...

    ... curious to see how other expenses would add up.

    On the advice of the guide books, we stopped in at Loket, a small town, known for its medieval castle built around the river bends that fringe the settlement. Somehow we’d managed to time our visit with the annual castle festival, so were treated to stalls of food and crafts and musicians, during our walk.

    ... 8k of underground tunnels and imagine life then. That brings us to this evening, when we gathered at Tomas and Gabrielle’s flat to watch Viktoria take the crown. We were delivered back to our hotel, but not before a Beatle’s sing-a-long with Standa at the piano. Standa is a local celebrity radio host + successful acoustic musician he made us sound good!
