    We got into Agios Nickolaos [a-yose nee-KOL-as] yesterday evening. It's back north from Myrtos about an hour. It's facing east since it's in the Mirobella Bay even though it's on the northern coast. Today was pretty leisurely with breakfast at a cafe with at 11am for coffee, pastries and loukoumades [loo-koo-mades - rhymes with Padres]. There basically funnel cake balls with honey and cinnamon.     On the second day last on the island of Crete we stayed in a hotel next to an amazing beach. Under the waves there were fish and small caves along the shoreline. There were lots of Russian tourists. When I swam in the crystal clear water I felt the dirt and grime disappear as I dive under the waves. The next day we went to the airport and caught a plane to Rhodes after visiting Knossos palace and Heraklion museum. Minoan overdose I reckon but don't tell Dad. ...
