Slept far more easily last night, having become far more accustomed to the noises of the plateau.
With no real plans we breakfasted and then went on tour - firstly to the church where Joseph was christened, then the windmills on the ridge overlooking the plateau and then to lunch by the big tree.

Today was no more taxing than the past four, and the R&R has done us all the world of good. We again ventured out of our room at about 11am to a day which felt a lot hotter due to the lack of wind. We headed to the main beach and all had a swim to cool off after our walk. The most strenuous thing we did all day was to hire a pedal boat for an hour and all took turns providing the pedal power.

... donned the masks and snorkels again. The water is really warm and takes little effort to get into.

When we all had had enough sun, and feeling encrusted with salt from the water, we headed back to the hotel. Mike had obviously spent too long in the horizontal snorkelling position and ended up with a bright red-sunburned back. We just hung out at the hotel for the next few hours, before heading into town for dinner.
