... it was time to wake up, pack, get breakfast, and prepare for our morning tour to the Acropolis and Parthenon. We placed our bags outside our door at 8:30 am for pickup by the hotel staff then headed down to breakfast. ... Athens has a plethora of motorbikes & scooters of all kinds, makes & models, similar to Rome. ... After our day at the beach we went again to the base of the Acropolis to have a bite to eat and to meet up with Timur and Rainelda. As we sat down to eat though, there was a large familiar looking man sitting at the table beside us. We also saw an anceint brothel where they had pictures painted on the walls of the positions the lady would do and how much it cost so they didn't have to speak or if the men couldn't speak latin. We also had to have lunch at a particular restaurant that was run by one of the Mob families that gives Contiki a discount. From Pompeii we headed to Bari to catch our night ferry to Greece. The ferry was interesting and I was glad to make it off alive.
