Part of the wonder of Rio is turning a corner in Santa Theresa, looking out from Vidigal or sitting on the beach and seeing Christ the Redeemer watching over the city day and night. But everything was fine and the people were so friendly and helped us find our way through even though they had no English and no way of properly communicating with us. Assuming you start early (park open at 9 AM), you shall be able
to explore in 4-5 hours. There are marked trails and well explained maps available to you. Additional tours inside park
like watching wildlife, aerial tour etc are available for additional cost. From Brazil side one get to reach the foot steps of falls.
