... the high levee built in 1955 to create the reservoir and thus Coralville Lake. We had to drive across the spill way to get to the campground area. We are right on the Iowa River. In 1993 and 2008 IA had so much rain that the lake flooded and spilled over the spill way and flooded the campground. Luckily it hasn't rained that much while we have been here.

years. They called the non- Germans, the "English". We had lunch at a German restaurant - beautiful place and food. We visited the micro brewery, the weaving mill, beautiful furniture and a good museum. Too much to see and do again, so back we went to the nice RV park and did the washing.
