... After that was the Needles Highway. A winding twisty highway with sharp curves and switchbacks. The problem with rally week is too many bikers, seriously, hundreds, and some of these tunnels are one lane on the top of the hill. So I wish that we could do this on an off week. It has to start with a dawn departure. Up before the crack of dawn. Bike prepped the night before, gassed and ready. Why do the tires always need air? It was a nice day to ride.
