ZAKYNTHOS, GREECE, MAY 6, 2015
Today we are in Zakynthos one of the Ionian Isles. Today is a beautiful day and we are tendering ashore to the port of Zakynthos. The town is quite small and nestled along the sea shore. We drive up into the hills for a scenic overlook of the port. In the distance you can see Turtle Island where the loggerhead turtles lay their eggs. We continue further up the mountains. The house is looking much better, the sun is shining and today is May 1st which is a holiday to celebrate spring, we are now off to Poros to watch the festivities and listen to Yorgos my pool man play his 'musics'!

Thanks again everyone for reading this, we have had over 430 people read it! wow! thats all I can say!

... To fill in time and while I had an ounce of strength I did the laundry. Breakfast was also a trial with me having to force down my usual of Bircher muesli, pecan nuts, low fat yoghurt, and blueberries. Yoghurt smoothie. Worried about low blood sugar so I very reluctantly toasted 3 pieces of banana bread with jam. Watching calories, so I didn't use butter. Went to the library and got a book ...

1st Olympic Games

... standing. You were supposed to see where the Olympic touch is lit, but we never really saw it. I'm glad we didn't do the tour though because is was very expensive and the people at our dinner table said most of it was in Italian anyways. After walking the ruins we walked into Olympia market place, and had a drink at a cafe to get internet. We had to be back on the ship by 6:30 and are supposed to be headed ...
