So sadly, we had our last breakfast on the balcony of our villa and watched the sun come up! The sun rises around 7.40am on the island. We closed all the shutters and locked up the house. The boys were waiting outside for us. We loaded the cases into the little Fiat and headed off to the ferry. When we arrived there was a huge line up of cars , I was wondering how they would all fit on, until I saw three really big buses and a truck come off. Andy was finding it very hard to ...

The first stop on our cruise is Katakolon, Greece (which is right outside of Olympia). We decided not to eat breakfast today and eat lunch early right before we got off the ship. ... Caesar Salad

      • Interpretation of the classical salad, from New York, not Italy (Jeannette's choice)
      Soup:
      • Butternut Squash with Huckleberries
        • Huckleberries are American, substitute Blueberries. A very theatrical presentation with creme freche & the huckleberries in the bowl before the soup is poured in. Our choice, absolutely stunning
      • Chilled Yoghurt ...

      Caught in a Love Triangle

... mistake of your life. If my host hadn't agreed with another lone traveller to enter into a bar here in Greece for one drink, she may never have met her husband. Her life as it is now can be linked back to that night and after this she maintained that she would never say no without questioning herself. She told me that if ten years ago someone said she'd be living her life in Greece and raising a family there she would have said they were absolutely crazy. What I take from this ...
