    ... diligently away. Oh such a painstaking process; digging ever so carefully and using the tiny brushes to sweep away the dust. I admire them - don't think I would have the patience!
    The mechanic came and went, apparently just a loose wire but we headed back anyway to the workshop where they double checked it. All was apparently OK and the good thing was he gave us an extra day at no cost so we will have the quad bike until ...

    Oh this is the life. We woke up...dozed some more and had a cuppa in bed - then enjoyed a leisurely breakfast at the resort - as you do :) The variety was great...very different from what we've been used to on the tour.
    We decided to take a taxi into town, as the resort is quite a way out. Fortunately the taxi is affordable at around 5 euros. We had a nice time browsing in the shops and chatting to ...

    ... Athens and we easily worked out the Metro system to Pireaus port to catch the ferry. Unfortunately though that wasn’t till 5.30 and we were thankful that our disappointment at not getting an earlier ferry turned out to be a good thing. We arrived at the port in the early afternoon and enjoyed a rest and drink after navigating our cases from the train station.

    Onto the ferry and I snoozed...didn't ...

    ... it is clear that Ms. Huljev would soon be hearing of Duigiud’s appreciation—as, I think, will a great many other members of this crew. I emailed Duigiud to thank him for mentioning her by name. Too often the gentle acts of appreciation and recognition are overlooked even though the cost of each is small while the value is great.
