We woke up in beautiful Corfu, The northernmost of the Ionian Islands with a population of more than 100,000. Corfu is known for its many castles, built after numerous conquests and invasions. It is particularly noteworthy that Corfu survived heavy Ottoman onslaughts with the aid of the Venetian Republic, whose culture is evident across the island.

... into the village of Ksamil and visited a new sports bar, where I fulfilled a dream of mine, draught Korca! I never thought I'd see the day!
On returning to Sarandė we come across the cheapest meal yet. 3 large beers, 3 main meals (mine consisting of 6 sausages, chips and salad) and setting us back just £13.50... I love Albania!
The next day we set off in a taxi to Siri I Kalter. I often find it difficult with taxi drivers that don't speak much ...
... Canadians one of which was hot and the other not so much. That was alright though, because soon enough the rest of their posy returned from the beach for something and "dragged" us back there. So now it’s just me and 8 hot chicks and 1 not so much. Cannot complain. Doing some ground work for the toga party tonight. My plan was if I could get a few faces and names recognized now then itll be easy later.
At dinner tonight they gave us a bit of a demo on how ...
... about making ourselves know. Turns out that the tour with the 40 girls is a 10 day trip and they are 6 days in and for most of them, this was the first drink they had had. The 10 or so that stayed up advertised themselves as the partiers of the bunch saying all the rest were soft, then all retired by 1:30. Even me, with my only just, not quiet, recovered flu am still up at 430. What the heck, can rest again tomorrow. Its good not having anything we have to do for a couple of ...
The second day in Greece was spent on George's Boat. It was a cruise round the island on a motorboat with several stops to jump in the sea. George himself is a bit of a perv but it's all very tongue in cheek and friendly. Ate a lot of Greek salad and drank some Greek beer, also did a lot of swimming in the sea! Got a good tan going on now. In the evening ...

We loved the Coral hotel
My Wife and I have been making the Coral hotel in Roda our favourite holiday hotel in Greece. We make the Coral hotel our regular hotel in all these years we have never had any cause to complain, in fact we have booked again for June 2005. the management and staff I would say are exceptional. the location is spot on, I may add we are both elderly not yet on zimma frames tho.
if you are considering going to Corfu the Coral hotel is the one but book early have a great holiday.

We have fantastic time in this Hotel!!!
The setting is wonderful with stunning views, in a great location in front of the beach. The service is also perfect - amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The Hotel is Excellent in all respects. Rooms / Food / Service were sublime, weather fantastic. Within minutes of arriving we were relaxed and made to feel so welcome, all the staff were wonderful. Dimitris was always on hand and nothing was too much trouble. Super bar with great cocktails and excellent pool facilities! We'll return! Thanks Travelocity for offering us this hotel!
It was great
We have visited Coral Hotel for our holiday's and we had a great time. The hotel was great with a friendly atmosphere and direct infron of the sea. We was having breakfast by the sea every day and that made the whole day. One of the best choices in the island. Thanks Kostas for the hospitality. We will be back.
Very friendly family hotel
This is a very friendly hotel. The manager was there to meet us and someone took our luggage to our room. It was the early hours of the morning and we needed milk for our little girl who was 2. No problem, they took a carton from the kitchen fridge. Now that's service!! We ate in the hotel restaurant every night and the food was excellent. At night time we never managed to venture away from the hotel complex as the entertainment was fantastic. We totally recommend it to all families.
We have just returned home from a brilliant holiday, so we thought that we had to tell everybody about it!
