We meet Annaliese Freise who runs a Christmas shop. We get chatting (this woman is 84 years old) and she tells us about a boyfriend she had in Dublin - she shows me the letter and postmark from Dublin!! She had many stories to tell and her English was perfect.

... man kennt das ja. Doch hier kam die Schwierigkeit "Baum" hinzu. Dieser "Baum" war einfach im Weg und hat unser Boot zum kentern gebracht indem er dieses unter Wasser gedrückt hat.
An und für sich ist das nicht so tragisch, nur leider habe ich meine nagelneue Kamera nicht angebunden. Diese ist zwar wasserdicht, schwimmt aber nun mal nicht über Wasser. Die Strömung war heftig und der Fluss ne schöne trübe Brühe. ...
