The plan never happened....As I already stated the LESS THAN HELPFUL staff in the hostel directed us how to get to the flight ...

... after the 2 hours of traffic jam were overcome).

d) Spontaneously decided to take a night bus not to Coro but to Valencia - the bus being as comfortable as the Brazilian or Argentinian ones, really good ! Departing from San Cristobal at 7 pm, arriving at 5 am after quite a good sleep !

e) Found another US school bus for the 90 min ride to Tucacas (instead of Chichiriche, as not so far away).

... at the prices on the menus - even usual fast food cheapies such as hamburgers and hotdogs were more expensive than you would pay in the U.S.! What kind of area were we in? After searching quite a few restaurants and asking the guy at the KFC equivalent if food prices were this expensive in the entire city (we have no idea what his answer was), we gave up and headed to a grocery store.
