We woke to the noise of the engine going and the anchor being hauled up. Ken decided he wanted to be back in wifi land, so we moved back to be close to the town. Since we had internet, we all checked emails, uploaded the blog etc, then after breakfast went to town in the dingy. This was amazing, they told the story so spookily yet so amazingly. Also going through that house and seeing how she lived and the amazing artefacts inside. This was perfect for a group of school students.
... because the best is always left last. Wrong!! The look of my friend's faces when we arrived at the resort were priceless. The driver had dropped us at in the middle of the ghetto! Yesterday we went to the Bob Marley Museum, this was a must do for me as I was sick with Dengue Fever when I was here last time and never got there. It is his original house and it has lots of memorabilia that helps to tell the story of his life. And it is an interesting story too. I laughed when Jayden laid down some serious dance moves during a round of “Jesus on the Telephone,” giggled when Moses found out I was not born in Jamaica and was shocked.
But I absolutely could not stop grinning ...
