We came back and relaxed on our beds for an hour. Bangkok was still calling us so we set off for the Khoa San Road not far from our guest house. It was good to see all the young travellers enjoying themselves and it was a great atmosphere. A young girl tried to sell us a taste morsel of a scorpion on a stick. We declined. We had dinner in a very comfortable and laid back restaurant feeling very content.

He informed us that grand palace was already closed, and instead took us for 10 baht in his tuktuk to see standing Buddha, sitting Buddha, and to a tailor who makes custom suits. He was like our private chauffeur for about 1.5 hours...all for about 30 cents. Dan bought a custom suit and Two shirts. It was A lot Of fun, felt like royalty, but also probably got sold because ...
