    ... here are some suggestions for happier travelling: ~ Eat all the free food you're offered - airplane meals, breakfasts included with your hotel, buffets, etc. You can use the money you save to have a nice restaurant meal later when you get hungry again. ~ Always check your room for spiders, centipedes, snakes, small rodents, etc. Better yet, if you're travelling with someone, get them to check it ...

    Today we are going to visit a zoo – Khao Kheow open zoo. That may come across as a little odd as normally this would not be the top of our list of things to do, as we primarily like to see animals in the wild. This place however turned out to be different.

    We fly to Hanoi today with Vietnam Airlines. The taxi to the airport only takes half an hour instead of an hour or much longer as it is Saturday and the traffic is light.     ... Burma initially drove/rode on the left side of the road. However, when the Military leader travelled outside the country, he noted that driving on the left side of the road was predominantly a British and British colony phenomena, he decided, literally over night to switch sides! Luckily since the country was cut off from the rest of the world, there were not many cars or it could have been disastrous .
