... retreat into the bathroom unnoticed. It was now a 2 pronged attack, both my forehead and abdomen taking strain. I ducked out and made it to the commode, and sat down in haste. It was just in the nick of time as a it sounded like the rainy season had arrived early. Good thing the toilet was situated a ways from where everyone else was by now assembling at the table to begin their main course. After all was said and done I noticed the sign saying not to deposit ...

We ask a few places about booking train tickets and they all seem to be a bit wishy-washy on the topic. Finally, back at our hotel, the clerk tells us the best thing to do is just go to the train station. We secure a Tuk Tuk and the driver speeds off for the Chiang Mai train station. There is no line, there are seats available on the train we want (private first ...

... looking like new robes, bags and other items I couldn't see or knew what they were. There was a group photo of the representative and other people at the front of the Buddha image and then everyone started filling out of the Temple as it was all over. I also slowly made my way out through the crowds of people and made the long walk back to my guesthouse where I decided it was a good idea to jump into the pool only to find out that since the pool was entirely in shade it ...
