We figured being in Missouri we needed to stop by Kansas City for some amazing BBQ since the city is known for it!! We stopped at.... We ordered 4 huge meals and shared between the four of us!! We don't think we could eat at another BBQ place again that is how good it was!! After this we drove to a town in the middle of no where (3 hours east of Denver) on I-70 West in Kansas State next to a town called Kanarado (we loved this name) and got a hotel to get some shut ...

... my meal (took a doggie bag home) and then had a piece of lemon meringue cheesecake. It was the best piece of cheesecake that I have ever had. I finished the whole piece off. Jonathan took his home; maybe I can help him eat it tomorrow? Whilst we were eating our meal outside, a really annoying busker was blasting away on the trumpet. Jonathan thought that he may be drunk. Apparently we were not allowed to take pictures - but I only figured that out once we left the Jazz Museum. Next we went to the Kepler Art Museum, except their was a ...

... us.  With our minds blown and our heads rattling from the confused head-shaking we were doing plenty of, we headed across the Missouri-Kansas state line and checked in for Sunday’s Kansas City Triathlon.  That’s right, we picked up our race packs and wetsuits (for Jordan and Hayley) in Kansas for a race taking place in Missouri.  In the same suburb we collected the race packs and wetsuits, Hayley had her ...

... get to Topeka today but it was a little too far with the side trip in St. Louis. We thought we might be able to make it to Kansas City, MO to eat at a great BBQ place but decided that we would get there too late so we ate on the way and stopped at Kansas City, KS. At least we got to Kansas. Drove 486 miles. Not to bad with the stop and we had a lot of traffic in St. ...
