Not meant to be!

... in the butt hurts, but that pain is forgotten if you turn it into something positive.

Recently, I’ve forgotten how to smile and laugh, and generally, just haven't been feeling like myself for the past four months. It's not something you always realize has happened, but luckily for me, some friends were concerned and pointed it out. The first step is to acknowledge the problem, right? The next step is doing something about it, and getting back to ...

We've crossed the border!

... about half an hour after we got into our grotty little motel. However, as we left Livingston it started again, and it was beginning to thicken up as we went through an early gorge on our way to Bozeman. Travelled on through Helena, then to Great Falls, and onwards to the end of the state. The weather was poor much of the way, but as we were on the drag strip for plenty of it, didn't really matter. You certainly clock up the miles going at 75 ...

Wow things change!

... right. We'll be looking at houses while we are there, as the government is offering grants right now for first time home buyers there - John being a citizen and not having owned a home there before, qualifies. So, we'll look and see what we find. The other big news - I am pregnant again! I have just hit the 3 month mark, and today will be going for our first ultrasound. I'm due ...

Desert, dessert, both are good when served cold

... with expectations, because neither of them lived up to them. They could both be nice places to live if you made decent money, but as far as tourists go, I thought they were both only OK.

But of course, the biggest disappointment was the lack of female Spanish tourists. Where were they??!??!? How come it took me almost a month of traveling before meeting even one? I cannot answer these questions ... perhaps they can only be ...

Welcome to 'cow town'

... to get in. It was refreshing to say the least. As I was toweling dry, a lady driving down the access road in her car stopped and rolled down her window to congratulate me on my bravery and tell me that she annually goes into the sea near her home on the east coast of Canada just after the ice has broken. I don't think I'm quite ready for that, but I was warmed by her praise.

Freakin' OUT!

... New Orleans at Mardi Gras and strapped he/she/it to the passenger seat of my truck during the remainder of Paul's Journey. Now I have to remember that when I get to the airport to check in that I have to ask for a free upgrade to first class. Hey! If you don't ask...you won't receive. There's nothing wrong with trying. Thanks to all those visiting my blog. Comments are appreciated though not expected. Think It! Feel It! Live It! www.whatisinc.ca

Rain, rain, go away

... real buzz kill for the weekends. Last weekend, my aunt and uncle took me to Elbow Falls, which is only about 30 minutes from here. It was cold and wet, but we still managed to enjoy it and even had an icecream afterwards. It was really nice to get out of town for a while. This weekend, it just kept on raining so I have been stuck inside. It's been a good opportunity to start planning little trips for the weekends. I am ...

The Missing Link!

... has documented it. I do know that now, my anxieties are greatly reduced. Writing that outrageous story and actually asking Hannah to marry me served the purpose of making me realize that I should write what I am thinking. People wanted me to write what I was experiencing. So writing about half (or completely) naked women was also required even though those are things I wouldn't have usually commented on. I've always thought them, but never verbalized them. No ...

Leaving Canadia

... so mysterious and stuff. "You have good Karma my friend. Just one moment" He makes some calls and gets me a cheap room at a motel around the corner. Sweetness. As we walked to our hotel, I think to myself. "Yeah, I am a good man. I do deserve some good Karma." Well guess what people. I am a good person, but Karma? Karma is a Kunt. Jared met me at the Motel the next day a little after midday. I hadn't seen him for a while and it was good to catch up. We had a few errands to run in town ...

Time - 28 hours?

We are leaving tomorrow and we still have so much to do! Preparation is key if we want to be comfortable for a week in the desert. How many bottles of water will we want! what can we take across the border? It is my second trip and you would think i would be more prepared the second time. This year ...
