Service was great, the staff were very understand that I had been travelling for 29 hours so they were very helpful and the room was beautiful. Clean, spacious room and a full buffet restaurant down stars as well as an alacrity restaurant, indoor pool and spa!! I will differently say here again!!

Its 5 am and we're up to catch the airport bus to Halifax Airport at 6am. There's no breakfast available and we stumble out onto the street to join the early morning people going to work. I thought we'd given all this up!!! The bus arrives late and then lurches from hotel to hotel collecting other zombies until we finally arrive at the airport some …

Well that is the 9 hour journey complete without much pain. Hardly the Dreamliner but it got us there safe and sound and not to tired. First impressions are that the Canadians are very friendly. Lots of extra staff at airport directing and helping. Think they were doing their bit for Help The Aged as it looked like a remake of …

... Next time we roll through this part of the world we want to spend more time here in the Grand Canyon and perhaps go to the bottom.

Next stop in our travels back to Calgary via the scenic route was Byrce Canyon in Utah. Again this is a truly amazing geological environment that looks like a melted creamsicles. In fact the formations look like they would be soft muddy type of texture but they are in fact hard rock. This part of Utah in ...

... a place called The Cheesecake Cake, which didn’t just sell cheesecakes. Here I had a delicious taco salad, which I’d love to have again, it was the closest thing I’ve had to my favourite Canberra Zambreros.

After lunch I meet Alistair who I had been emailing about the car. The car was an awesome colour, very eye catching. I checked the oil and radiator fluid as instructed by Dad and looked at the engine. I checked out the spare ...
