Caught train with Stephen and Will out to Linhai to see the 'Great Wall', supposed to be second to the 'Great Wall' at Beijing. In fact a City Wall. We walked up to the wall and then walked along for a fair distance, but it was pouring with rain. You could actually walk all around it in 2.5 hours but we went off to find ...

In these 3 days I stayed at the four star Pearl hotel in Yongkang, to attend the 18th annual Hardware Fair. In order to find new suppliers for the company or new products worth exporting. My main task was paying attention to the latter as well as handing out & receiving business cards and obtaining company folders. I also met many hotelguests from many countries, for example a group from Indonesia whom I had some great interaction ...

... br> The next morning we woke up on the train in Shanghai. I had planned to see an OB for my 14 week prenatal check, so that was my first priority once we got into the city. I had already made an appointment for that afternoon, but the doctor had to cancel, so as soon as we got to our hostel I called a few other English speaking OB offices and found a doctor I could see at noon that day. I went to the clinic and found out some really bad news. Our baby had died ...

It takes nearly 3 hours to trek from the base to the top of the mountain peak (alternatively you could take the easy way out and catch one of the frequent cable cars to the peak). Considering myself to be marginally fit, I chose to trek up to the peak. The staircase, ascending virtually

... flight with a two hour layover

Atlanta, Georgia to Tri-Cities - one hour flight

I think this is 30 plus hours of travel. Keep in mind that we crossed twelve time zones during this travel. We ate so many meals at so many different times that I can remember what I ate when. Welcome jet lag!

We were so happy to see the Tri-Cities Airport. Homeward bound!
