        Well, all the places I want to go would take three days, and I only have three day weekends twice a month. I really needed to get away this weekend, so I messaged a bunch of people in Henan on couchsurfing, to see if anyone was free to host. The first person that answered was a woman with no references and a blurry picture. I went with it anyway, even though the messages she sent me were nonsensical.

        ... in the Cultural Revolution as it was a religious temple. It was also interesting seeing the trees with many circular holes down the trunk. We later found out that the monks used the trees to practice finger-punching. It's pretty incredible to think that their fingers were strong enough to make a hole in the tree trunk. My fingers get sore if I knock on a door too much.
        We also saw a stone turtle, which, if you rub its head, will make you immune from any diseases ...

        ... to change my furniture around as the room where I had the computer was just too hot as there is no airconditioning in it. So now the loungeroom has the computer desk under the window. It means that I will now really only be living in two rooms and the kitchen. Not that I spend much time in the kitchen.

        ... when we left. The food was continuously supplied and far too much for a table of girls. There was a whole variety of fish, tofu, chicken, soups and breads. We kept on having to pile the dishes on top of the other, as there was no room for the next dish that arrived.

        ... and vegetables as they were all wrapped nicely in gladwrap. In the other supermarkets where you can choose the fruit you like the people even go through the sultanas picking out the best ones. So I figure I would prefer the stuff to be packaged and the chances are that less people have touched them. I will not buy sultanas and nuts loose as they have been picked through.
