... a buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad with balsamic glaze for entree and then just shared a bowl of spaghetti bolognese. We were both as full as beans! We headed home, watched a movie in bed and then crashed. The next morning we walked into old town for some brunch. I'd picked up a little traveler's guide newspaper the night before which recommended a cafe in old town so we went to check it out. It was called Figa and turned out to be really cool. We got some ...

... like to cruise at a steady 120 km/h but due to boredom, I found myself doing more like 130 to 140! Mind you the Mercs, Beemers and Audis still passed me. The motorway makes a kind of dog leg. ... 6 miles and dropped anchor in Prklog which was a lovely long inlet totally protected with just one other boat. It felt like we could have been in a Swiss forest some where as there were so many tall pine trees. Needless to say storms arrived after midnight and we find ourselves playing scrabble at 4am in the morning ...

A fab sail up the 17 miles with the wind just dieing as we pulled into Punat to have a look around before going of to Krk main town for the evening. A great safe bay with monastry and marina , worth noting for return trip! On arrival in Krk we drop anchor outside to test if safe but end up picking it up and heading onto town quay as think we may go out and have few beers whilst inspecting the old town. Another lovely old town and good ...
