... Mexico before except on top of the mountains in the far distance. It is a good thing we had electricity so we could run the furnace all night.

We waited until 10 am to leave, we wanted the roads to be clear and dry, and they were. We planned to take a curvy picturesque road in the mountains, but, were afraid it might be slippery. We went back to Monterrey and on to Durango.

... day. No schedule, no clocks, life 100% on my terms, such a delight! Travel time is sacred time to me. If I had to pick a religion, it certainly would be adventure. ... STOKED!! And..... CLOSED :-( booooooooooo..... Mon-sun online. tues-sun in real life. Our second planned destination was a traditional wood fire pandeleria (bakery). Wind down, 300 topes (speed bumps), drive one way, drive the other way, drive another way... and finally, drive the last way... NO BAkery :( We did find yummy ice cream and yummy Tacos!
