This was always going to be different. The people who live on The World are the fittest ship 'passengers’ we’ve ever seen. They also wouldn’t put up with rubbish trips. This wasn’t.

Fourteen of us got in a minibus and drove about five minutes up the road. Along the way we ...

The temperature at 7am was 27C, the wind Force 5 and the sea slight. After that, I went deck side for a tan and a strawberry/banana smoothie. ...

I found that over 200,00 Tongans are living overseas, mainly in New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii and the USA. Most of the population of Tonga rely heavily on help from family members living abroad. It's common for most overseas Tongans to know how fill up a container at the dock and send it with all of the food that the family will need to live ...

... Yesterday I was able to assist and scrub in for a planned Caesarian section and then watch a total abdominal hysterectomy. We have been impressed with the new hospital which has only been open since March. The building was built and paid for by the Japanese and seems to be a huge improvement on the old hospital that was there before. The main noticeable difference between Tonga and the Uk is the lack of diagnostic facilities, particularly imaging. Ultrasound ...
