It was a lovely start to the day, but before we did anything, I checked to make sure the time of day and the date were correct and they were. We are now GMT+13. ... been really interesting. Although I was expecting it I am still shocked by how big a problem diabetes is here. You see some terrible diabetic complications that you don't see in the UK because people avoid getting treatment until it is too late. The nurses and doctors are all really friendly and really encourage you to get involved which is good. One of the nurses says she grew up in the same village as Eloena Lyons! The downside to Tonga is the food which seems to be terrible! ...
