Today there is little to report of interest to a travel blog. I picked up some food at a nearby supermarket and then worked all day, casting an occasional gaze outside at the beautiful vineyards all around. This is some of the best wine country in the world. The most consistently sought-after and expensive wines are not far from where I am, in the Paulliac region north of Bordeaux. The most famous are Château Lafite-Rothschild, Château Latour and Château ...

So we said goodbye to the other guys and headed out to try find her! Louis came with us, he was such a nice guy! Wary of the difficulty of feeding Ali in France, we had take out noodles over looking the river (again barely dodging a shower) and wandered through the slightly eclectic festival being held on the river front. It featured a Mexican tall ship, some powerboats for sale and the music of Wham!, so pretty pleasing all round.
