... correct postures on the horse-backs and we were frequently reminded by the guides to sit straight or lean forward depending on the terrain the horses were manoevring. We made a circuit on the mountainside and passed through one Tibetan village before returning to where we started. Like Jiuzhaigou, there were not many red leaves at this time of the year. After getting off my horse and standing straight, I realised that my butt ...
Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan, China ngrick... Five-coloured Pond and retract back. The only advantage of taking the cable car is the downhill trek.)
It was after 9pm when we finally reached Zhangzhazhen (漳扎镇), the town just at the entrance of Jiuzhaigou. We checked into Grass Roots Youth Hostel (草根青年ਭ 3;舍) and quickly headed to a small restaurant to have dinner. We were very hungry by then. After dinner, we retired for the day.

Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan, China blummo... lose all your possessions, but as long as those you love are alive and well, it will be alright. If you care about people, you should tell them when you have the chance. Don't part leaving ugly words in your wake because they may well be the last you say to that person. Apologise to the people you have wronged. If you don't, these will be the things you are likely to regret if, one day, such terrible bad luck falls from the sky into your life, forever removing the possibility of making things right.
Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan, China iolair... and the inevitably accompanying sound of rain. Already dubious about paying a heart-stoppingly whopping FORTY dollars to gain admission into the park, we weren't all too sure anymore about whether we even wanted to go for it at all. After serious rumination, we settled for another night at the YouU and prayed for sun the following day. Sure, if the park was seriously as beautiful as it was made out to be, rain or shine, it should still be breathtaking... but we ...

We left our big bag in the hostel, promising to come back the day after. When we arrived at to the entrace, we saw thaousands of Chinese people, mostly in group, waiting to enter the natural reserve. It was the first time I though - this place is so far-off. Not like the Great Wall that is so closed to Beijing (and many other cities) or the ...
