We spent the off-season in Fort Wayne, Indiana visiting with Clara's family who lives there, working a couple of seasonal jobs, and enjoying hot showers and a house that stays in one spot. Hah!

I head now down to Florida, stopping off on the way at Covington near Atlanta to meet Patrick and then on to Lake City in north Florida to meet Steve, both from the V8Buick Forum.
... Toboggan Chute on Valley Way at Strongsville and from 6pm - 10pm toboggan'd myself silly. There are two man-made concrete chutes side by side 700 feet (about 200 metres) long and 70 feet (+20 meters) high - best speed I managed lying flat on my back was 45 mph (70 kph). I had a GREAT time and the staff were excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I also found out that there is a down-hill skiing facility at Alpine Valley on Mayfield Road (US322), Chester but did not get there.
... hotel and the city to the tunes of our day song. We had a short drive to the border – back to the USA. Along the way i did some reading and relaxed. Getting through the border was easy and we also went through duty free before hand. Back on the coach and we continued on. We stopped for lunch at a Target. I got some lunch and a Onesie. ... restored Victorian houses (I felt like I was on a set of a movie!). We took in four restaurants and although my guide said "samples", it felt more like a progressive dinner. I enjoyed the concept though as I got to try a few restaurants without the usual pressure of deciding where to go, what to order and with the choice taken out of it I was "forced" to try things I normally wouldn't order. Most places had a couple of things on their tasting ...
