We spent the off-season in Fort Wayne, Indiana visiting with Clara's family who lives there, working a couple of seasonal jobs, and enjoying hot showers and a house that stays in one spot. Hah!

... Toboggan Chute on Valley Way at Strongsville and from 6pm - 10pm toboggan'd myself silly. There are two man-made concrete chutes side by side 700 feet (about 200 metres) long and 70 feet (+20 meters) high - best speed I managed lying flat on my back was 45 mph (70 kph). I had a GREAT time and the staff were excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I also found out that there is a down-hill skiing facility at Alpine Valley on Mayfield Road (US322), Chester but did not get there.

I enjoyed the concept though as I got to try a few restaurants without the usual pressure of deciding where to go, what to order and with the choice taken out of it I was "forced" to try things I normally wouldn't order.
