I flew up to Dalian on Sunday and have been here all week with Paul Taylor and his great team of staff. I haven't been up here for some time as James Magee, the Business Teacher, was diagnosed with TB in December and the centre was out of bounds.

The weather has been glorious - clear blue skies, although still quite cold. I have now completed my lesson observations on the team. I have also delivered 2 CPD sessions, ...

Dalian is a coastal city which is a popular holiday resort. Because it was Chinese New Year, lots of people were about and there was a party atmosphere. I guess it's easier and more fun to build something new than to maintain something old. ...

... that option while a few of us went exploring in the hope of finding Peking Duck. After 40 minutes if drawing pictures of ducks, making quacking noises and playing charades with a number of locals and restaurateurs we finally found what we had been looking for and feasted on Duck the proper way - pancakes, hoisin, leek and duck all carved by the table. Fantastic. This ...

Today some people go home and send their cars back to the port to ship the vehicles back. One car goes to Singapore and two other cars are shipped to Port Klang in Malaysia. And the rest of the team will have half a day for sightseeing and free program. In the afternoon we visit a massage place and head to the food street for dinner to enjoy fried rice in a ...
