The venue for our first concert was the Dalian Development Area Grand Theatre. As with any large city there are 'rough' areas and 'nice' areas but Dalian seems to be pretty polar in this regard. There are parts of town that look as though they haven't been cleaned or maintained in years and then there's the Dalian Development Area which is pristinely beautiful.
