... round the coast to other view points by which time we were all tired. (All this fine dining and wining every day takes it out of you!)
Our guide who was a second year university student and very cute sang us a Happy New Year song on the bus. This was the first time she had been a guide as it was the only time she could get to speak to foreigners and practice her English. She did speak very well. At the end ...

      Concert 1 - Dalian

The venue for our first concert was the Dalian Development Area Grand Theatre. As with any large city there are 'rough' areas and 'nice' areas but Dalian seems to be pretty polar in this regard. Auckland's 1.4 million is a third of NZ's population. The density of high rise buildings is staggering. We arrived at our hotel ...

... got the indicators working correctly and brake proportioning valve swapped out with the replacements from Australia. New coax was installed for the UHF radio and we will see how that goes on the road. Horns were replaced/repaired on the lead car - kind of important when in China. Also the wiring was examined on car 12, which had a fire in the aftermarket central locking system in one door. Their main issue was that the air con had stopped working so after some examination a relay ...

Today some people go home and send their cars back to the port to ship the vehicles back. One car goes to Singapore and two other cars are shipped to Port Klang in Malaysia. And the rest of the team will have half a day for sightseeing and free program. In the afternoon we visit a massage place and head to the food street for dinner to enjoy fried rice in a ...
