I wanted to floor it to get to the ferry, but there were two roundabouts to negotiate and on each roundabout sat a police van. The first day, I spent in the closest city our ship was docked in, Rostock. This was a beautiful port city which is most known for it's university (I never actually got the name.) After taking the train from Warnemunde (where our ship was docked) we walked around the city in the morning and had lunch in an authentic German restaurant. I ate the best ...

We capped the night off in the Viking Lounge - we were the oldest by a few years - haha still going strong - it was a good night.
