Bahnhofsplatz 17-18 Bremen, Bremen, Germany, 28195 , 421-16030
Today we went to Bremen (Mason, Shawn, Steven, Soth, Dave and I). We took the 9:20 train from Braunschweig but 2 of the guys didn't make that one so we waited in Hannover for an hour for them to catch up on the next train. It was a 2 hour 20 minute total trip which was not bad.

It was raining when we got to Bremen so picture taking was difficult. We didn’t have any plans so I bought a map/book and we wanted to find somewhere to eat lunch. We wandered towards the ...
Bremen, Germany plcouttsiep... this area seemed like a **** hole. It was dirty and of course dark and cold. So after a few blocks I headed back to the train station to sit around and wait to call Norbert, a guy who works for our company in Bremen. While sitting in the train station I realized I could charge my phone off my computer with a cord that wasn’t built for my phone, so that was nice. I also was able to people watch for a few hours and just listen to music. So what cool ...
Bremen, Bremen, Germany drunkendidierWhat can I say - I really love Germany and this little town is no exception. Actually stayed here a couple of nights mainly to catch up on emails and sleep. This is a cute little town that is most well known for its travelling musicians of Bremen which is a rooster atop the cat atop the dog who is standing on the donkey (apparently they were scaring robbers who invaded their house). They have a statue of this in the centre of town. Aside from this the town is ...

Bremen, Bremen, Germany jrmelando... s student sat me down for awhile, and explained our research here in greater detail. I learned about the different arms of my research professor's investigative team, and how their work fits together. Basically, there are people that work off-shore performing in-situ tests, drilling cores, and collecting seismic data; then people who work at the University, testing sediment parameters in lab, and assessing the underlying geology of the project area to see how safe it is for putting in a ...
Bremen, Bremen, Germany mankyoldboot23... br>One of the great things about Germany is their commitment to solar and wind power. All along our travels we have seen hundreds of wind turbines in all parts of the country, slowing churning their clean energy. And the amount of solar panels was startling! Big factories, houses in the cities and barns in the country, all with their roofs covered in panels were more the norm then the exception in southern Germany. It was a welcome site ...
Bremen, Bremen, Germany sasaharty... consequently shared. Heats were made up of three boats each with each team of about 20 dressed in matching, colorful shirts. Each boat had a drummer keeping the stroke and more than one team chanted as they paddled. This was not like sculls: the boats were paddled like canoes, and had a carved gilded dragon head in the bow. It was something I did not expect to see in Germany. Your 'nautically delighted' pal, Davy

Bremen, Germany nstarkey77... all over again. It took several days to arrange the flight. The 2 free tickets KLM offers me every year had been sent back and had to be re-requested again. We decided not to tell Leon we were coming after all but to surprise him and to just appear on his doorstep. Vivian made all the arrangements to spent out first night at 2 witness families and finally by January first we were off..
