Ghent is bringing some serious cuteness of its own

... the Haagen Dazs restaurant again, but thought better of it. I'll grab a coffee from it in the morning instead. Back to the room! Honestly didn't know what I should do first. TV, bath, plug iPod into Bose docking station? Settled on watching The World's End again on TV while I ate my sandwich. Then I had an amazing bubble bath while listening to Tom Waits and a shower, for good measure. Used every product available and then relaxed and put my sore feet up. Hope I can sleep here this ...

... had in there, so we bought a small mixed bag, and a bag of noses, which are apparently the much better type (in taste and work ethic) than the ones the guy in the stall was trying to sell us the other day! They are incredibly friendly and welcoming people. So much that after a mere two days of hanging out, I’m spending a week with them, and staying at Joke’s mum’s apartment in my own room, and then Lynn’s mum by the sea in Belgium.

... Very characterful XIXth century house. The bedroom on the top floor feels like a treehouse, with nice views over the streetscape in all directions.

In the evening we walked around the local area, the Grand Sablon Square and and church, the pretty garden at Petit Sablon, around the Palais Royal.

Pickup up a few supplies for breakfast on the way back.
