... in English for French addresses and we entered our destination. None of the options given matched with what Brad had researched but he put faith in the GPS - Jane was far from convinced.

Our journey from Poitiers to Montournais took about 2 hours and was on a variety of roads from tollways to small winding D class roads. Luckily the payment for using the tollway worked well, unlike an experience we had last year. We had a brief shower of rain but ...

Eventually, we had to begin the return journey in order to get the bikes back to the store on time. The return journey was no less scenic than the first time through, it truly was a great experience.

... days in Paris with Nat and Carmen. We stayed at a little apartment five minutes from the Arc de Triomphe and 10 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. There were three metro stations within a five minute walk also. Whilst some may wonder what on earth could be left in Paris that i haven't seen, you will be pleased to know that we did find a couple of things to do that were new to me! The first one was climbing to the top of Notre Dame. Haven't done that before ...

For the first time in my life, i have attended a dawn service for Anzac Day. France, Villers-Bretonneux. And it was a totally amazing experience. We travelled from Angers to Amiens by train on Thursday morning, arriving about 2.30pm after a wait of a couple of hours in Paris to change trains. Amiens is a reasonably sized city about half an hour away from Villers-Bretonneux and I was really surprised at how much the locals were into the Anzac ...
